Welcome to the Green Bay Area Chapter of EGA
Come join us and make new friends with area needleworkers!
Our purpose is to practice, share, and learn the art of embroidery. We have an active program of education and study with a goal of preserving the heritage of the art.
We strive to share our talents with the community through various programs including teaching children the art of embroidery, participating in community outreach programs, and by showcasing the art of embroidery at our bi-annual show at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Each month we meet and have a program that aims to meet this mission. We have had guest speakers on a multitude of needlework related subjects and programs aimed at teaching and/or enhancing our skills in various forms of embroidery. Please see the Calendar link at the top of this page for this year's programs.
The guild meets the 4th Thursday of each month from with the exception of June and July. Meetings begin at 7 PM
Please note: The meeting date for November will be changed due to Thanksgiving. We will be meeting on November 21, 2013.
For information on what program will be presented at each meeting, please click on the Programs link on the left hand side of your screen.
Note: When Green Bay Area schools are closed due to bad weather, the Green Bay EGA meetings are also cancelled.
We meet at the First Methodist Church, 501 Howe Street, Green Bay, WI at 7 PM. Please come to the building next to the church (building shares the parking lot of the church). Enter the third door on the left (we will have a sign on the door).
Board Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Harmony Cafe (inside Goodwill) at 1660 West Mason Street, Green Bay. All members are welcome to attend.
